Men's Club Captain Report
Dear Members,
Last week we played a Stableford and the final round of the Four Seasons. Hamish McKay was the best in the field with 42 points.
Congratulations go to Ryan Hannagan who wins the Four Seasons. The best three rounds count. Ryan had 118 points.
In last weeks wrap I did a piece on Connor making the Otago team. Unfortunately for Connor he broke a finger while batting. That is gutting for Connor, but I am sure he will bounce back. Remember Connor, you are a bowler, not a batter?????.
Connors replacement is Parker Aluesi. Parker will travel as a reserve. Good luck Parker.
Members can you help?
If you would like to help with starting duties throughout the year, please let me know. I especially need starters for the morning fields.
Can you help as a sponsor? We have several competitions we run throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to support the committee by sponsoring a Saturday comp or a trophy event. All the money we receive for sponsoring committee events goes into funding our competitions and directly benefits members. Costs are from $100.00. If you are interested, please let me know.
This week we play the last round of the Platinum homes club captains’ mug and the final round of the Ron Johnston memorial.
The 13th of December sees Patrick take over proceedings kicking things off with his hamper day.
