Men's Club Captain Report

Dear Members,

Last week we played the last round of the Platinum homes club captains’ mug and the final round of the Ron Johnston memorial.

That’s it for the year from the committee. We start things off again on January 10^th which will be the Platinum Homes club captains’ mug and Ron Johnston memorial then on the 17^th we have the first of two qualifying rounds for the newly sponsored Platinum homes club champs so get involved.

Members can you help?

If you would like to help with starting duties throughout the year, please let me know. I especially need starters for the morning fields.

Can you help as a sponsor? We have several competitions we run throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to support the committee by sponsoring a Saturday comp or a trophy event. All the money we receive for sponsoring committee events goes into funding our competitions and directly benefits members. Costs are from $100.00. If you are interested, please let me know.

Do You Know the Rules?

Sprinkler head around the greens

Clarifying you only get relief from sprinkler heads if your ball is on it or touching and if your normal stance is on the sprinkler head.

If you choose to take relief for any other reason it will be for a penalty. It is not a local rule of the club.
