The Legends Pro-Am is 3 Amateurs with 1 professional where you play your own ball in a team Stableford (best 2 each hole).

Men's Club Captain Report

Dear Members

Believe it or not, last week we played the first round of the four seasons off the black tees.
A total of 16 members finished their rounds and entered cards. We had three (mad) members play in the afternoon field (see right)
Ash Eustace was the player of the day with 39 points. No twos recorded and we didn’t pay out closest to pins etc as they were either missing or ineligible.

Remember the four seasons is best three out of four rounds off the different coloured tees.

This week we have the second qualifying round for the Platinum Homes club champs. If you have already played your qualifying round two weeks ago you can’t add another qualifying score. I am away this weekend but will endeavour to do the draw for the club champs on Monday.

Cross Country is back, register yourself or your team in the pro shop for Friday 6^th March.

Dunedin Strokeplay. Feb 21^st is the St Clair Dunedin Strokeplay. We have a Saturday division and a Saturday/Sunday division with blue and black tee options. Please support this event.

Pennants. Yes, it’s that time of the year again. The team sheets are on the notice board in the men’s changing rooms. Please enter your names on the sheets. It’s a great way to play all the other Dunedin course and represent your club.

Members can you help? I am still looking for help with starting duties particularly in the mornings. Let me know if you can help.

Can you help as a sponsor? We have several competitions we run throughout the year. It’s a great opportunity to support the committee by sponsoring a Saturday comp or a trophy event. All the money we receive for sponsoring committee events goes into funding our competitions and directly benefits members. Costs are from $100.00. If you are interested, please let me know.

It was a shame about the weather on the weekend so fingers crossed for better weather this week for our final round of club champs qualifying.

27th/31st Jan - Club champs qualifying (round 2), Jessie Conroy Vets (55+ years) and Net Medal
3rd/7th Feb - Betty Davenport Stableford (round 1)
10th/14th Feb - Betty Davenport Stableford (round 2)

News from Patrick at the Pro Shop

On Course

Friday 30th – Course closed for Harbour Rugby Club Golf Day.

Saturday 31st – Club Day. Final day for Club Championships qualifying.

Monday 2nd February – Masters Games. Course closed for most of the day. Limited tee times available 9:00–10:00am off the 10th tee.

Tuesday 3rd February – Pro-Am Sponsors Ambrose, 2:00pm start.

Wednesday 4th February – Pro-Am. Course closed all day.

We encourage members to book tee times and carts early, particularly around these dates, to avoid disappointment.

Mizuno Fitting Day – 19th February
