Men's Club Captain Report

Dear Members,

Last week we played the finals of the Platinum Homes Club Champs and a stableford for the rest of the field. Player of the day in the stableford, Ian Guild with 42 points.

This week we play the Platinum Homes club captains mug, JW Smeaton Shootout & Ron Johnston memorial.

Pennants:
Senior A had a half with B52s.
Senior B lost to Taieri Lakes at Island Park 5-1
 Intermediate halved with Taieri lakes at Chisholm.

Club challenge we sent an 8-man team to challenge Island Park at Island Park for the club challenge trophy last Saturday. Unfortunately, we came up just short going down 4.5 – 3.5.

Coming up: April 11^th we have the 4bbb Matchplay qualifying with knockout rounds scheduled as follows, Round 1 April 18^th. Round 2 May 9^th.

Women's Club Captain Report

Last week we played the Club Champs and the rest of the women played a 4BBB which Diane Campbell & Kay Patrick  won with 41 stablefords with June Cardoza and Angela McCarthy second on 37.     

Pennants - commiserations to the pennants team who lost 1-3 to Otago Comets on Sunday.

Coming up in the calendar 
Tues 31st Mar&7th April or Sat 4th&11th April - Nancy McCormick Memorial Foursomes (2 rounds). This is a competition over 2 x 18 holes that is run nationally, and we send our best pair's score in to NZ Golf.

Driving Range Alarm System

The driving range alarm system is currently being attended to. The alarm remote unit has been checked and removed for repair after the aerial was found to be broken, which allowed water to enter and flood the enclosure. The unit is currently being dried out and will be reinforced and weatherproofed before it is reinstalled. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.

Pennant Tops

These are our official pennant tops. If you are playing pennants for St Clair you are expected to wear one.
They are available to all members, but are subsidised for pennant players ($15 from Patrick, $15 from the committee). Polos $50  and Thermo tops $80 (normally $80 and $110 RRP)
