Dear Members

Last week we played the first round for the 4bbb and a single stableford for the rest of the field.
Carter Hepburn was player of the day with 44 points.

xHole in one
It's not every day someone gets a hole in one, but Zac Scott did on the 13th on Saturday (see photo).
Congratulations Zac.

Pennants:
Senior A visited Taieri on Saturday and after finishing regulation play 3-3 a three-hole sudden death playoff was had, and Conner Howes won on the third playoff hole. Congrats guys and top of table.

Senior B went down to Taieri Gold 4-2 at Otago.

Intermediate had their first loss going down 2.5 – 1.5 against Otago.

Templeton: The sheets are on the notice board in the men’s changing room. If you would like to play, please enter your name on the sheet.

The club is hosting a series of events starting with Gin Tasting 8th May 6.30pm. $25 for 6 flavours and platter. Join us for a great evening.

This week we play an American stableford.  How to score:
You get 4 points for a birdie; 3 points for par; 2 points for bogey; 1 point for double bogey.
Add your total points for 18 holes to your playing handicap. The winner is the player with the highest score.
(The computer should work this out for you if you record your actual score on each hole)

Volunteers

Our volunteers play a hugely important role in keeping the Club running, and we simply couldn’t do it without their support. With the ongoing pressures we’re facing, we would really appreciate a few extra hands to help out where possible. There are a number of areas where assistance would make a real difference, including greens (hand watering and trimming around sprinklers), tees (trimming around markers, divoting, filling sand bins, and general upkeep), bunkers (raking, weed spraying and edging), and general course work such as line trimming, weeding, spraying, debris collection, and even helping with firewood. If you have any time at all to spare, we’d love to hear from you—please give the office a call and we can have a chat about how you might be able to help.

Driving Range Alarm

The driving range alarm has been repaired but has been temporarily out of action due to repairs to the greenkeepers' shed. It will be back in action as soon as possible.

Pennant Tops

These are our official pennant tops. If you are playing pennants for St Clair you are expected to wear one.
They are available to all members, but are subsidised for pennant players ($15 from Patrick, $15 from the committee).
Polos $50  and Thermo tops $80 (normally $80 and $110 RRP)
