Men's Club Captain Report

Dear Members,

Last week we played the second round of the Platinum Homes Club Champs and the Platinum Homes club captain's mug. We have found our club champs semi-finalists.
Senior: Albie Reed Vs Jack Crashley & Scott Mitchell Vs Parker Aluesi
Intermediate:  James Wright Vs Allan Gill & Ryan Edwards Vs Callum Gillies
Junior: Mark Davis Vs Eddie Baker & Mark Tuten Vs Fulton Henry
Cardno: Greg Flannery Vs Eugene Shields & Brian Greer Vs Anthony Sewell

Platinum homes club captains’ mug. Winner of the mug was Meki Elisara with a nett 60.
Best gross was Paul Brouwer with 71.

This week we play the semifinals of the Platinum Homes Club Champs and a stableford/JW Smeaton shootout round for others.

All Men’s & Women's Club Champs finals will be played on 28th March.

Cross Country is back, register yourself or your team in the pro shop for Friday 20th March.

Pennants. WE NEED PLAYERS. Unfortunately, we have withdrawn our Junior A team as we did not have the numbers to field a team.

Intermediate Pennants: After scratching around to get a team together I am pleased to say the team of Dion Johns, Grant Cameron, Trevor Hill & Fulton Henry had a 3-1 win over Taieri Gold. This year’s captain/s are father son Jamie & Zac Scott. Good luck for the rest of the year.

We still need names for Senior B. The team sheets are on the notice board in the men’s changing rooms. Please enter your names on the sheets. It’s a great way to play all the other Dunedin course and represent your club.

Regards Paul Brouwer

Driving Range Alarm System

The driving range alarm system is currently being attended to. The alarm remote unit has been checked and removed for repair after the aerial was found to be broken, which allowed water to enter and flood the enclosure. The unit is currently being dried out and will be reinforced and weatherproofed before it is reinstalled. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.
